Wow! You are boldly going where I have never dared to go. The only thing I think I know about the right/left hand thing with colors is that if one is right-handed, then the yarn held with the left hand will be knit more loosely and thus those stitches will be more prominent. Is that correct?

How exciting! This is something to look forward to for the months ahead.

I stick with the background in my left hand, every time, and then I don't need to remember what I did when I pick my knitting up some months later.


Halfway through your post I was thinking, "Boy, I hope she's keeping notes!". Glad to hear you are, although I shouldn't have doubted you.
