I love your STR raven colors - I believe I have the same selection in my stash waiting for the perfect project. I like your idea of using it for less flashy mitts or mittens.

Nice yarn haul! I'm hoping to spin something a bit rustic for the Wool Peddler shawl, one of these days...

It's not the fear that all the yarn will be gone but that all the good yarn will be gone. That perfect skein may have gone just minutes before you were there.

I think my favourite is the Foxhill Farm yarn, it's a colour that goes with everything and it looks so warm.

I like the STR colorways you picked - and the autumn colors look beautiful as the backdrop for your first photo.

It was wonderful meeting you in person. I love Cheryl Oberle's book and her shawls - looks like your yarn is a perfect match for that pattern. All that garter stitch is making me crave some simple garter stitch of my own. Mindless knitting has been my friend lately.

Rhinebeck is such a treat for my knitting buddy and I (hotel reservations are already made for 2011)- we always have a great time.
Looking forward to your Stitches report!
