Hi Marjorie,
boy do I empathize, my knee started acting up a month ago, my dissertation is screaming for attention, office work is piling up and all I crave is walking and knitting. But I did get a good swim yesterday as the knee seems to be better and I stole an hour to pick up the stitches for the second sleeve of my kimono sweater (from the Knit Kimono book - the ginger one with black trim - easy, tranquil stockinette) the rest will get done in its own time.

Knitting always cheers me up when I'm feeling down. I love those stamps, and your mitten is looking great so far!

Sorry you're in the winter doldrums already. Our knitting group challenged a neighboring group to come up with projects based on those stamps. There were some really clever offerings, from tote bags to potholders. But of course I forgot to take pictures!

Your mitts look so nice. I hope your foot feels better soon!
