Amy

Ed's sweater looks so lovely! (Should one say 'handsome' for a man's sweater? :-)

I used a regular loose bind-off on the leaf-lace shawl that I did, and it actually came out quite well. But I'm sure you'll come up with a method you like when you're feeling fresher--thanks for sharing those links!

Even though you had to frog part of it, the shawl looks beautiful. I love that lace pattern, and I agree with Amy that you'll be sure to find the perfect solution. Ed's sweater looks great too. You're going to have to make him model it for the blog when it's done!

You might want to also look at this:

Simple to execute, and certainly looks stretchy. I haven't done it myself, but I've read several people now who extol its virtues.

I have not yet done any shawl knitting, but when I do, I'm coming to you!

The shawl is going to be so pretty!!

I ended up with the normal bindoff on mine but I didn't want the pointy points... (i posted this on the lace shawl kal, too).

Can't wait to see it finished!
